Victor Oladipo – Houston Rockets
Victor Oladipo was traded to the Houston Rockets back in January as part of the James Harden to the Brooklyn Nets trade, but with the Rockets continuing to “tank” and be one of the worst teams in the league, it seems very likely that Oladipo will be on the move. Houston wants draft picks and young assets to rebuild and grow with, which is exactly why the Hawks could express interest in the former All-Star guard.
Not to mention, Victor Oladipo and interim head coach Nate McMillan already have a strong relationship with one another dating back to their days with the Indiana Pacers. The Hawks need another star-level player to pair with Trae Young and Oladipo could be the perfect option for this system.
In 20 games with Houston this season, the former 2x All-Star is averaging 21.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.2 steals and is shooting 40.7% from the floor. After suffering a major leg injury two seasons ago and missing almost all of last year, Victor Oladipo has shown no limitations on the court this year and continues to look like the dominant two-way guard we are used to seeing him be.

With the Atlanta Hawks needing another high-level player to pair with both Trae Young and John Collins, Victor Oladipo would be a perfect trade target for the Hawks if they are willing to part ways with a couple first-round picks and a young talent like Cam Reddish.
