Why This Trade Would Benefit The Golden State Warriors

It is no mystery that the Golden State Warriors saw great success from three-point range during the championship years. Both Steph Curry and Klay Thompson will go down amongst the all-time greats in shooting from deep. With Thompson on the sideline for another year, the Warriors could be looking for that replacement splash brother to hold his spot until he returns next year.

JJ Redick would be a benefit in more ways than one. First, he is still one of the best three-point shooters in the league and can play fast and get a shot up quick within an offense. This fits into what the Warriors like to do.

Also, Redick is a winning player who has been in the postseason in all but one year of his career. This was last year in his first with New Orleans. Redick is certainly looking to get back to the postseason at this point in his career in the Warriors could use an extra piece to get them over the top.

The fit here is just incredible and would be very entertaining to watch. Redick would draw some attention so that teams cannot double or triple team Curry on the perimeter. The fast-paced style of offense is something that Redick is used to and would fit in quite well.
