Why This Trade Would Benefit The Miami Heat
The Miami Heat are in win-now mode but did not look like it over the first half of the season. Miami dealt with injuries and inconsistent play during their start which has kept them from being near the top of the conference. In a very top-heavy East, there are teams that have improved in Miami needs to turn into one of those teams.
Miami has one using their depth and frontcourt ability. Vucevic would only add to that notion. He has become one of the most underrated big man in the league because of his ability to dominate down low and step out and shoot from deep.
Vucevic is a double-double machine and can score from anywhere on the floor. The dynamic that he brings would be welcomed in Miami with the style they like to run. He would be the perfect pick-and-roll man for Goran Dragic or Jimmy Butler on the perimeter.

With a Vucevic and Adebayo down low, the Heat would be extremely difficult to guard. They have very different skill set and would cause matchup problems for most teams in the league. This is a blockbuster move that Pat Riley could look to target if he wants to get the Miami Heat back to where they should be.
