The Eastern Conference has been extremely underwhelming through the first half of the season and teams like the Miami Heat are the reason. After a run to the NBA Finals down in the bubble, Miami got off to a sluggish start this season due to inconsistent play. If they want to turn it around over the second half, they will have to make some improvements.

Miami was able to make that surprise run on the back of Jimmy Butler, who proved to be a big game player in the postseason. Bam Adebayo also took the next step down low and was able to dominate the competition. Miami was able to measure themselves against the Los Angeles Lakers and see where they stand. It was clear during that series that the team needs to continue to make additions.

The Orlando Magic could have just a player for Miami. Orlando is currently 14th in the Eastern Conference. After two street postseason berths, it is looking like the Magic are back down to earth and where people expected. This means we can see the front office start cleaning house sooner than later.

Nikola Vucevic would be the biggest name that Orlando could send away. He is the best player on the team and an all-star big man in the conference. He has been viewed as a centerpiece player but the Magic know that he would also warrant the biggest returning.
