Gordon has played 26 games for the Rockets this season with only 12 starts. He is scoring 17.8 points per contest while shooting 32.8% from the three-point line. He still has plenty left in the tank and would benefit greatly from joining a contender at the deadline.

The Rockets would also land some pieces to help them in the future. They have officially become a rebuilding franchise and that is where Romeo Langford and Carsen Edwards come into play. They would benefit from a change of scenery for a team that they would be able to have an extended role.
