1. New York Knicks

Finally, there is one fringe playoff contender that should look into trading for the veteran forward. The New York Knicks are currently the No. 4 seed in the Eastern Conference and are playing impressive basketball. Acquiring a talent like Andre Iguodala would make a lot of sense.

New York already made one sizable trade this season, bringing in point guard Derrick Rose from the Detroit Pistons. Rose has fit in perfectly and become a very big part of the success that the Knicks are having.

Iguodala would not be nearly as big of an acquisition, but he would bring experience. If the Knicks want to make a run the rest of the season and into the playoffs, they will need more experience. There is no doubt that Iguodala would help improve the bench play as well.

There is a good chance that the Knicks are still looking to wheel and deal to improve this year. If that is indeed the case, they should consider trading for Iguodala.
