How about a return to the Bay for Andre Iguodala? He had some of his best years and won multiple championships with the Warriors. They may not be top-notch NBA Finals contenders this season, but he would certainly help them.
Stephen Curry and Draymond Green are having to do it without Klay Thompson once again this season. Things have been up-and-down, but they are still a team that can contend. Iguodala would simply add more much-needed depth.
Assuming the price tag wouldn’t be too steep, the Warriors should look into this option. Iguodala knows the system, knows a lot of the players, and the fans would love to have him back.
Granted, this may not be the best landing spot for Iguodala, but it is certainly one that could be a good fit. Golden State may choose to avoid trading for veteran players this year, but adding Iguodala would help round out their roster.
