New York Knicks Receive: Derrick Rose
Detroit Pistons Receive: Kevin Knox II, Reggie Bullock
Derrick Rose was a member of the New York Knicks during the later years of Carmelo Anthony’s tenure and with a young Kristaps Porzingis. The trio did not work out and Rose was quickly sent out of New York. Here in 2021, Rose could be sent back to the mix and serve as a leader on and off the floor.
The Detroit Pistons are in desperate need of a rebuild. Kevin Knox II is a young player who is attempting to become more consistent from the three-point line and still has upside left to tap into as an overall player.
Given Knox II’s draft selection at No. 9 overall, he will always be considered a bust in New York. A change of scenery could do the young shooter some good. Reggie Bullock is another three-point threat that would go to Detroit in the deal.
Let’s take a closer look and see how this trade centered around Derrick Rose would benefit both the Detroit Pistons and New York Knicks.
