The Toronto Raptors are off to a poor start this NBA season. This could mean they are on the verge of trading one of their all-time greats. It would certainly be a shock but a team like the Boston Celtics would be on the phone early if it were to happen.

We are talking about Kyle Lowry. He is one of the best Raptors in franchise history and has given so much to this team over the years. He was a part of their championship team two years ago and is the leader in many statistical categories. With the current situation in Toronto, they could be looking to make some changes and Lowry makes the most sense.

Boston is a team that would be a perfect fit for Lowry. They are a win-now team that could be looking for more help along the perimeter. In the offseason, Boston sign Tristan Thompson to help out down low and they could also look for more help in the frontcourt.

At the NBA trade deadline, Danny Ainge might be busy and it would not be surprising given the current state of the Eastern Conference. Many teams have improved and the Celtics know they will need to make a move if they want to come out of the difficult conference.
