Golden State Warriors Receive: Lonzo Ball, Nickeil Alexander-Walker

New Orleans Pelicans Receive: Kelly Oubre Jr., 2022 1st Round Pick

The Pelicans want assets in return for a young player in Lonzo Ball. Kelly Oubre Jr. could be the perfect fit in New Orleans. He has been inconsistent in the Warriors’ offensive scheme and a change of scenery could do him some good.

The Pelicans will most likely ask for a first-round pick as well in return for Ball. For the Warriors, it wouldn’t be easy to part with that type of asset but it would be up to their personal belief in regards to how Ball would fit alongside Steph Curry.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker would join Ball in Golden State. These are two players who would be able to help the Warriors right away. This will give them more depth as they hope to make a run in the postseason.
