Why This Trade Would Benefit The Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors need to shake things up this season. They are extremely inconsistent and that has been a problem since the beginning of the season. Kelly Oubre Jr. has emerged as the top trade asset for the team, with Andrew Wiggins not far behind. It would not be surprising to see either player traded at the NBA trade deadline.

The Warriors are a team that likes to shoot from deep and play fast with Steph Curry setting the tone. Oubre Jr. is shooting just 21.8% from beyond the arc and 35.5% overall. He is currently fourth on the team scoring 11.6 points per game.

Lonzo Ball is an intriguing name that seems like more of a fit for Golden State. He has the ability to play fast and would benefit under the guidance of an all-time great like Steph Curry. Ball has yet to take the next step but teams believe that he has a high ceiling if he lands in the right situation.

The Warriors could be their correct situation. After a one-year hiatus, Golden State is looking to get back to the playoffs and make a run toward a championship. It would be amazing to see Steph Curry do so without his other splash brother. This is why the team should look into a move before the NBA trade deadline.
