Why This Trade Would Benefit The Denver Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets are viewed as a win-now team in the Western Conference. They are one of many in a very difficult group. The addition of a veteran player will always help a team take the next step. It is even better when it is a winning player like Kyle Lowry with experience in the postseason.

Lowry has experience playing alongside another elite guard on both ends of the floor. His ability to play with Fred VanVleet will come in handy if he is sent to a team with another high-level point guard. The Nuggets certainly have one of those in Jamal Murray.

Together, the two would create a backcourt that could navigate through the conference with great poise. Lowry is also a fit with Nikola Jokic. The big man currently leads the league in assists. Lowry would help out even further given his ability to shoot from deep and handle the ball within the offense.

It is unknown how many years Lowry has left in the NBA. It would benefit him greatly to play for a contender moving forward. The Nuggets could be the perfect fit here with Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray.
