This Kings-Lakers trade features two helpful veterans to L.A.

The Los Angeles Lakers made some more moves in the offseason to help their chances of repeating as NBA champions. LeBron James and Anthony Davis have plenty of weapons around them this season. They might not be done yet, as they have shown that they are not afraid to make moves. There is a pathway for a beneficial trade with the Sacramento Kings.

It began when Los Angeles made a trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder to acquire point guard Dennis Schroder. This took care of one position that they needed to improve. The Lakers then added some help in the frontcourt by signing Montrezl Harrell in free agency away from the Los Angeles Clippers.

As if that was not enough, the Lakers locked up both LeBron James and Anthony Davis for the future. This is a franchise that wants to become the next dynasty and it is possible with the way they are constructed.

The Lakers could find trade partners in a team that is rebuilding like the Sacramento Kings. There are a few veteran players that Sacramento could send to Los Angeles to help throughout the season and come playoff time. And no, it is not Buddy Hield. His name has dominated many NBA trade rumors coming out of Sacramento but he will not be sent away in this particular deal.

This trade between two California teams could help both sides with their current goals. Here is what a potential trade between the Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings might look like.
