Mitchell Robinson

Michell Robinson is a seven foot tall center for the New York Knicks that the Wizards should pursue to replace Thomas Bryant. Robinson, 22, hasn’t put up the best numbers in his career thus far, but he would thrive with Russell Westbrook passing him the ball.

Mitchell Robinson, thus far, has averaged 8.6 points per game, 7.8 rebounds per game, 0.5 assists per game, 1.5 steals per game, and 1.9 blocks per game this season while shooting 65 percent from the floor. Robinson has improved a lot for the Knicks this season and could be a great fit in the nation’s capitol.

If the Wizards traded for Mitchell Robinson, they would be snagging one of the best centers that has a lot of upside in the NBA. Robinson isn’t a finished product yet, but with the guidance of Bradley Beal and Russell Westbrook, he could be.

There would be plenty of potential for Mitchell Robinson to serve as a rim roller and lob threat with such a dynamic backcourt running high balls screens. Additionally, he would be able to provide needed rim protection and rebounding to boost the unit.
