Miami Heat Receive: Kyle Lowry, Terence Davis

Toronto Raptors Receive: Kendrick Nunn, Kelly Olynyk, Andre Iguodala, 2022 First-Round Pick

If Pat Riley and the Heat decide to go all-in on winning a championship with Jimmy Butler leading the way, making a trade to acquire Lowry would make a ton of sense. He would bring shooting, scoring in general, leadership, and experience to the court.

Bringing Lowry on board would not be a cheap move. The Heat would have to give up quite a bit of value in return. A young player, two veteran role players, and a first-round pick should be enough to get it done.

As for the Raptors, this would be a signal that Fred VanVleet is their guy moving forward. He and Pascal Siakam would form a long-term duo. This trade would add more talent around them.

Both Olynyk and Iguodala are quality role players who would help the Raptors compete now. Nunn would provide the Raptors with a quality backup point guard.

Let’s take a closer look at this trade for both teams and why it would make sense for them to pull the trigger.
