Will The Warriors Make It Back To The NBA Playoffs?

The Warriors could wind up being one of the better teams in the Western Conference, but they could also wind up missing the playoffs and ending up with another lottery pick in next year’s draft. There are so many question marks about the Golden State Warriors that the only thing we know for sure is that Stephen Curry will be playing at a high-level.

This team will go as far as Curry is able to take them and while he will be so important to the Warriors this season, they do have a handful of reliable offensive weapons. Wiggins, Oubre, Green, Looney, Wiseman, Paschall and Bazmore will all have to elevate their play this year and will all have big roles with the Warriors this season.

Turning defense into offense will be a key for the Warriors this season and if they end up being one of the top-four teams in the Western Conference, it will be because of their efforts on the defensive end of the court.

The Warriors have always been a middle-of-the-pack team in the NBA in terms of defense, but this season, things could improve greatly for them on this end of the court.

Andrew Wiggins, Kelly Oubre Jr, Draymond Green and Kevon Looney are all very reliable defenders and this team in general is one of the more athletic teams in the NBA. With the athleticism they have and the solid options off the bench, the Golden State Warriors are going to be a lot better than people think and look like they could be a legit playoff team.

If the Golden State Warriors are going to make it back to the playoffs, they will have to be a better defensive team than they have been in the past and hope they can finally get through a year without more major injuries.
