Thunder Receive: Julius Randle, 2021 2nd Round Pick (via DET), 2021 2nd Round Pick (via CHA)

Knicks Receive: Trevor Ariza, George Hill

Randle heading to Oklahoma City would be the biggest name changing hands in this trade. In a way, it would benefit the Knicks to get rid of Randle for a few pieces. The Thunder would also acquire some draft capital in this deal in the form of second-round picks.

The Knicks would reunite with Trevor Ariza. New York drafted Ariza in the second round of the 2004 NBA Draft. They would also get some help at the point guard position with George Hill coming in the deal.

Neither team would be getting a huge return, but the deal makes sense. In fact, the Thunder could even focus on moving Randle in a separate trade.

Let’s take a look and see how this trade would benefit both sides in the upcoming season.
