Who Will Be The Top Contributor Outside Of Kyrie Irving & Kevin Durant?

While the Nets have a great team all-around, who will step up and be the third scoring option on this team? The easy answer is Caris LeVert. In 45 games last season, Caris LeVert took a major step in his career and averaged 18.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, 4.4 assists and shot 42.5% from the floor, 36.4% from three-point range.

Leading the Nets last season, Caris LeVert looked like a potential NBA All-Star and had a lot of impressive performances. Ahead of the NBA shut down, Caris LeVert scored a career-high 51 points on 17-26 from the floor against the Boston Celtics. Only six times during the regular season did LeVert fail to score in double figures and look to build off of last year to elevate the Nets into title contention.

While Caris LeVert will hold a very high value on this Brooklyn Nets team and be one of their biggest contributors outside of Kyrie and KD, Joe Harris will also serve a major role for this team. Not only is Harris one of the best three-point shooters in the entire league, but he can go on a scoring run by himself in a matter of seconds.

In 69 games last season, Joe Harris averaged 14.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and shot 48.6% from the floor and 42.4% from three-point range. This was the third consecutive season that Joe Harris shot over 40% from three-point range and with a healthy Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant back, Harris could wind up getting even more three-point opportunities this year. The Nets signed Harris to a four-year, $75M contract extension this offseason and will once again look to him to provide three-point scoring in volume.

Expect to see both Caris LeVert and Joe Harris have big impacts on the Brooklyn Nets this year and help elevate them to being one of the top teams in the league.
