Suns Once Again Finish As Top-10 Scoring Team In NBA

There are a lot of questions about who will step up for the Suns with Ricky Rubio and Kelly Oubre Jr. gone, but the Phoenix Suns do not have to worry because they have a lot of offensive talent on their team. Chris Paul, Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton are all proven players on the offensive end of the court and with some key role players coming off of the bench, the Suns will most likely finish as a top-10 scoring team once again.

Dario Saric proved to be a reliable perimeter threat last season for the Suns, shooting above 35% from three-point range, and Jae Crowder was fantastic for the Heat in the playoffs. The 30-year old forward averaged 12.0 points per game in the playoffs for Miami last year and also shot 34.2% from downtown. A lot of people doubted Crowder’s ability to still make an impact, but he has proven that he can still play at a high-level and will be an impact player for the Phoenix Suns this upcoming season.

Mikal Bridges and Cam Johnson are the two players to watch on the wing this season as both players were big time scorers in college not too long ago. With no Kelly Oubre Jr, both of these young wings will be asked to take on bigger roles and could become key scoring options for the Suns throughout the year.

Last season, the Phoenix Suns averaged 113.6 points per game during the regular season, ranking them as the 10th best scoring team in the NBA. They did a lot of their damage in the paint last season and this season should be no different, especially with Chris Paul leading the offense.

The Phoenix Suns have plenty of offensive weapons to utilize this season and when it comes down to it, Devin Booker, Chris Paul and DeAndre Ayton are all guys who can score in bunches. When the Suns need a basket, they will have three guys they can turn to and feel very confident in. Not many teams around the league can say this, which is why the Suns will once again be a dominant offensive team.
