This Heat-Pacers trade lands intriguing stretch-five in Miami

The Miami Heat are in a position to contend for many years upcoming. Bam Adebayo has turned into one of the premier bigs in the NBA and it’s intriguing to think about the possibilities by adding Indiana Pacers’ Myles Turner into the mix.

Coming off an NBA Finals appearance during the restart, the Heat is looking to bounce back from their loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. Next year, Miami could try to add another standout at some point so they could compete with the top teams in the league but it may take a key roster change.

It was initially rumored to be busy for the Pacers this NBA offseason but they ended up not making a move. Victor Oladipo was supposed to be one of the biggest players on the training block and despite not reaching an agreement on a contract extension, Indiana opted to start the season with him.

The Pacers could look to move Myles Turner if it turns out that Domantas Sabonis is best-equipped to play alongside a small-ball power forward like TJ Warren. Indiana appears intent on giving their combination of intriguing young big men another go with head coach Nate Bjorkgren.

If the Miami Heat decided to create a dynamic duo in the frontcourt, they can reach out to Indiana Pacers about Myles Turner. Here is what a potential trade could look like between the two sides.
