Bucks Will Lose In Eastern Conference Finals To Nets
There is no doubt that the Bucks will be amongst the league’s best teams over the course of the regular season and should once again be one of the teams to beat in the Eastern Conference Playoffs. It is extremely tough to stop Giannis Antetokounmpo and he will do everything he can to lead this team in the playoffs, but their road to a championship will end in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
Not only to the Brooklyn Nets matchup perfectly with the Milwaukee Bucks, but they have too many weapons on offense that the Bucks offense will not be able to outscore. This is where the Bucks bench will make-or-break their season because the Nets will take either Jrue Holiday or Khris Middleton out of the equation offensively for Milwaukee.
Someone will have to step-up for the Bucks, probably off-the-bench and looking at their roster, there is nobody you can point to and feel comfortable enough to be the “saving grace” for the Bucks. When you look at the Brooklyn Nets though, they have 7-8 guys who can go out on any given night and score in double-figures, which is why they should be the ones to dethrone the Milwaukee Bucks.
Losing in the Eastern Conference Finals for the second-time in three seasons would not just end the Bucks season short of their goal again, but could end the Milwaukee Bucks as we knew them. If they cannot prove that they can be a championship team this year and truly contend for a championship, some massive rebuilding will be going on with this team because not only will Giannis Antetokounmpo want out, but other star players like Middleton and Holiday may also be on their way out.
Losing in the Eastern Conference Finals again and failing to make the NBA Finals would be catastrophic for this organization and as it sits right now, this is the direction the Milwaukee Bucks are trending towards.
