The Hypothetical Trade

OKC: Blake Griffin, 2022 1st Round Pick

DET: Trevor Ariza, Darius Miller, Justin Jackson 

Griffin would head to Oklahoma City in the trade. Now, that might not fit in to the plan for the Thunder, but they would be getting another first round pick in the deal. Presti has built up a plethora of first round draft capital over the next six years to help rebuild this franchise.

Detroit would get some help in the back-court. Ariza is a veteran player who would come in and contribute immediately for the Pistons. Miller and Jackson are two other options to continue to build depth and versatility on the perimeter.

Neither team would be walking away with a major haul, but it’s intriguing. It would also help the Pistons when it comes to cap space in the future.
