The Hypothetical Trade

Bulls Receive: Ben Simmons, Furkan Korkmaz

76ers Receive: Zach LaVine, Lauri Markkanen, Cristiano Felicio, 2021 First-Round Pick

Now this would be a trade that would make both teams look brand new. It would be a blockbuster trade and one that most sides would definitely be intrigued by. Quite a few fans would also feel that their team was either not getting enough or giving up too much.

For the Bulls, they are looking to get back into playoff contention. They have been building around LaVine for the most part, but Simmons would be a much better franchise star. He would have the ability to be the go-to option in Chicago.

On the other hand, the 76ers would be getting pieces that could fit nicely around Joel Embiid. Both LaVine and Markkanen are quality players who would be potential long-term options. A first-round pick is necessary in any deal for Simmons, although they would likely prefer more than one.

Let’s take a closer look at this trade for both teams and why they should pull the trigger on this deal.
