1. Los Angeles Lakers
The Lakers are coming off of an NBA championship in the bubble. The combination of LeBron James and Anthony Davis looked unstoppable throughout the postseason. If there was one position the Lakers needed to improve upon, it was at point guard.
They already made a big splash move and could look to find depth with Teague. That splash move was acquiring Dennis Schroder from the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Making the move for Schroder gives them a strong option leading the offense since Rajon Rondo entered free agency. Jeff Teague could join the team as another veteran leader and backup point guard.
If Teague is serious about winning, there is no better place to be right now than Los Angeles. Teague could shine in the role that Rondo played last season. The depth in Los Angeles is put on the back burner because of their superstars, but this is something that could make them even better.
The Lakers have a wish list this offseason and Teague should be on it. They already made a big move and another could be coming very soon for a team that was interested in improving this offseason.
