2. Boston Celtics
The 2020 postseason exposed the lack of depth on the Celtics roster. They were dominated down low by the Miami Heat and did not have depth behind Kemba Walker at point guard. If they are looking to add some depth at that position, Jeff Teague is the name to keep an eye on.
Teague is still a productive player in the league. This season, he averaged 10.9 points per game and shot 46.3% for the field, 36.8% from deep, and 87.3% from the free-throw line.
The Celtics feel the need to improve their front-court, but getting depth at the point guard position is also a priority. Also, this would give Boston the option to trade Walker if they feel the need.
Boston is a win-now team heading into next season. They will look to make a repeat run to the Eastern Conference Finals and get over the hump into the NBA Finals. Teague would help tremendously.
