Predicting the landing spots for top free agent centers

Montrezl Harrell is a free agent who is expected to get a lucrative deal on the market by a team in the NBA. It is unlikely that the Clippers will be able to retain their forward, which means he will be looking for a new home next season. One team that has been linked to Harrell since the beginning is the Hornets.

Harrell is coming out of his best season of his career. He averaged 18.6 Points and 7.1 rebounds per game in 2019-2020. The Hornets are a team with a great talent in the back court led by Devonte’ Graham, Terry Rozier, and new draft pick LaMelo Ball. They are thin down low which is why Harrell will be a priority for them this offseason.

Charlotte can rebuild quickly if Ball pans out and Harrell is there big man of the future. This would make them a deeper team with more talent than they have had in previous years.
