4. Los Angeles Clippers
The Clippers are in an interesting spot this offseason. They are coming off of a disappointing campaign in the bubble where they failed to reach the Western Conference Finals. Doc Rivers was let go as head coach and Ty Lue will now man the sidelines.
There could be some other changes coming soon.
Rumors have swirled around about a potential Paul George trade, but it is hard to imagine Los Angeles giving up on their plan after one season. With Montrezl Harrell entering free agency, the Clippers will need to find a replacement and Tristan Thompson is the perfect man for the job.
If Thompson wants to join a contender, then Los Angeles is the city to go to. He would have a chance to play with George and Kawhi Leonard in hopes of capturing another NBA championship ring.
The Clippers will look to improve the point guard position and add some forwards down low. Thompson fits into that plan well and could be near the top of their list come free agency.
