Boston Celtics Receive: Steven Adams

Oklahoma City Thunder Receive: Gordon Hayward, No. 14 Pick

The Boston Celtics have three 1st round picks in the 2020 NBA Draft with No. 14 being the highest selection. They would have to send this to the Oklahoma City Thunder in return for Steven Adams.

Oklahoma City would send Adams away during the final year of his contract which would benefit them considering he could leave in free agency. Hayward would provide a scoring boost for Oklahoma City, especially if they lose some key pieces this offseason.

Side-by-side, this is not a difficult deal in terms of pieces and it is even for both sides. Here is how the trade would benefit each team.
