Celtics Trade Three 1st Round Picks To Move Up
If there is one move that should happen, it is the Boston Celtics moving up the board. They currently have three 1st round picks and it does not make any sense for them to make all three. The Celtics have needs down low and could trade their picks to move up. A team that could look to add three first-rounders is the Detroit Pistons.
Boston needs to improve their depth in the post. Daniel Theis and Robert Williams III played well last season but nothing jumped off the page. They are rotational players but should not be pegged as starters.
Onyeka Okongwu is an intriguing prospect for the Celtics and one who would be able to make an impact right away. If they choose to go in a different direction, Tyrese Haliburton could be an option and Boston could look to move Kamba Walker.
Danny Ainge has a boatload of options with three picks in the opening round of the 2020 NBA Draft. Ultimately, there will be many rebuilding teams interested in acquiring three picks for one. The Detroit Pistons immediately come to mind as a team that would be interested in a deal like this.
