General manager Rob Pelinka has his work cut out for him this offseason. Los Angeles has a number of players that will have options to re-sign or opt out come free agency. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Avery Bradley, JaVale McGee, and Rajon Rondo will likely opt out of their player options. Draft picks are not valued at the moment in Los Angeles. They are late first-round picks and are not held to the same standard as early picks. The Lakers are about winning championships. They will do that by adding a third head to the big three and moving forward as the top team in the Western Conference.
