Why the Trade Benefits the Los Angeles Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers are coming off an NBA title and have made it clear that they want to add another star. LeBron James has already made a Kevin Love trade happen in his career so why not make another one?

Of course, Love was part of a blockbuster deal while James was in Cleveland and this ultimately led the Cavs to their first championship in franchise history. Love would fit right in with the Lakers because he would give them even more size and would add three-point shooting ability.

The Lakers will be looking to part ways with expiring contracts this offseason so it will not hurt them. Also, the 28th pick is nothing but trade bait for them.

This is a trade that would keep the Lakers at the top of the league and give them a chance to build the next great dynasty. That is what they are looking to do with James and Davis on the roster.
