4 steps to a perfect offseason for the New York Knicks

This has been a strange NBA offseason and that includes the New York Knicks actually hiring a good candidate at head coach. Tom Thibodeau should have the team playing tough, especially on the defensive end.

The Knicks signed veteran players to short-term deals in hopes of trading them away and freeing up cap space. That could still be used to their advantage this offseason as teams will seek to clear salary-cap spending in exchange for expiring deals.
