5. Brooklyn Nets
Kyrie Irving made some comments about needing another piece or two around himself, Kevin Durant, DeAndre Jordan, and Caris LeVert. Since then, the Nets have been linked to names like Bradley Beal and yes, Zach LaVine.
LaVine is a more attainable goal for the Nets and could be a good fit. The UCLA product has been a team player throughout his career. He played with Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins in Minnesota where he was not the leading scorer.
On the Bulls, he was forced to take over that role and has done it well. On the Nets, it is clear that he would be the third option, but that would solidify Brooklyn as championship contenders.
The Nets will not have draft capital worthy of LaVine, but they do have a nice stash of role players. If they want to get a deal done, there is a possibility that they might be able to.
