The NBA has over half the league make the playoffs, but there are still some stars that have not been able to get there. Devin Booker immediately comes to mind, but there might be no one in a worse situation than Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine.
The Bulls are in a complete rebuild and they not seem to be close to competing. That leaves LaVine out to dry. The notion that he is just a dunker has been put to bed over the last two years.
LaVine is averaging 24.6 points on 46% from the field and 38% from three-point range in 123 games spanning over two years.
The Bulls could look to trade their star and acquire some draft capital to try and speed up the rebuilding process. LaVine is just 25 years old.
If he is available in a trade, there will be many teams on the phone trying to make a deal. This could happen sooner than later as we creep closer to the NBA Draft.
Of course, there is no guarantee that the Bulls trade LaVine to a playoff contender. If a team needs some help, LaVine is an asset that could help in a big way.
Let’s take a look at five teams who should consider pursuing a trade for Zach LaVine if the Bulls do make him available.
