NBA Trade Rumors: Latest Predictions for Booker, Paul, Oladipo, Bucks

There will be no shortage of storylines to watch this NBA offseason beyond just the Milwaukee Bucks and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Some names recently featured in the rumor mill include: Phoenix Suns’ Devin Booker, Oklahoma City Thunder’s Chris Paul, and Indiana Pacers’ Victor Oladipo.

This NBA offseason is expected to consist of more player movement via trade than in conventional circumstances given the restrictive salary cap landscape that many teams face. So that will result in no shortage of rumors being circulated from around the league.

The 2020 NBA Draft has yet to take place but it could provide some indication in regards to how the offseason may unfold for some of the higher-profile available players— Victor Oladipo and Chris Paul come to mind.

It has become quite common to see Oladipo and Paul being included in trade rumors, and don’t expect that to change anytime soon. Both the Pacers and Thunder will be in a position this offseason to make roster changes.

One of the more surprising additions to the NBA rumor mill is Booker. After the surprising 8-0 run the Suns pulled off in the bubble, things are looking up in Phoenix. Regardless, the latest on Booker took the news cycle by storm, as one might expect.

Something always to watch is the potential moves that NBA title contenders will make to solidify their chances of winning a championship. One player that has been linked to contenders lately is Jrue Holiday, but he was mentioned in a previous edition of this series.

Meanwhile, the Bucks will face a situation this NBA offseason where building a championship team around Giannis Antetokounmpo is a must. A team with their backs against the wall in need of immediate results is always a candidate to make some changes. But how creative will they get?

There are some names that have already come up as potential options for the Bucks while some expected possibilities haven’t gained much traction. It’s still early, so that could change.

Let’s take a look at predictions for each of the main NBA offseason storylines that have been prevalent in the rumor mill, as of late.
