Deni Avdija

Deni Avdija has been a hot prospect for months now. He has the size and skill to make it at basketball’s highest level and there are many teams that have been all over him as we approach NBA Draft day.

The Warriors have been high on Avdija since the beginning. He is a 6’9 player who can handle the ball and shoot from deep. That fits right in with the Warriors.

Outside of Golden State, Avdija has met with the Hawks, Detroit Pistons, and Cleveland Cavaliers. All four of these teams will draft in the top-10. Avdija could go anywhere from No. 2 to No. 10.

The Warriors have looked to trade the No. 2 pick and move down. This is an area where they can land Avdija and gain other assets but do not be surprised if they draft him at No. 2. The Warriors do not need a point guard or a wing. Avdija could act as a stretch-four in Golden State.
