Onyeka Okongwu, 2020 NBA Draft, Boston Celtics

Onyeka Okongwu

Onyeka Okongwu might be the most intriguing prospect expected to go in the top-10. Wiseman is ranked as the top big man but Okongwu might have a higher ceiling. It is not crazy to say that Okongwu will be better than Wiseman over the course of their careers.

It is hard to imagine the Boston Celtics not trading up in the 2020 NBA Draft to land one of the top big men. They are a team that is high on Okongwu and why not? He is an athletic, versatile player who can rebound and rim protect. This seems like a match.

The Celtics have plenty of options on draft day given the fact that they have three 1st round picks and could be looking to unload Gordon Hayward. That should present no shortage of options to get something done.

If the Celtics do not move up for Okongwu, he will not fall too far. The Atlanta Hawks or Detroit Pistons could be in the market for a talented big that brings versatility on defense.
