James Wiseman did not spend much time at Memphis before leaving to train for the 2020 NBA Draft. During his time, he showed an ability to score in the post and rebound at a high level.

Right now, Wiseman is viewed as the top big man on the board. He stands at 7-foot-1 and has great footwork. The New York Knicks have said that if Ball or Wiseman do not fall, they would be interested in trading down.

The Golden State Warriors have also been linked to Wiseman with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. However, the Charlotte Hornets have become increasingly linked to Wiseman, as of late.

There is one surprise team that could land Wiseman — the Boston Celtics. They are high on Okongwu but could opt to move all the way up and land Wiseman. The Celtics have three picks in the 1st round of this draft and could use them to move all the way up and improve their center position.
