Washington Wizards Receive: Cam Reddish, De’Andre Hunter, Dewayne Dedmon, No. 6 pick, 2021 first round pick
In this hypothetical, the Wizards part with Beal, but they receive five total assets to do so. Washington would hypothetically acquire Cam Reddish, De’Andre Hunter, Dewayne Dedmon, the No. 6 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, and Atlanta’s 1st round pick in 2021.
This trade gives the Wizards two excellent young pieces to build their future around, in Reddish and Hunter. Dedmon, at 7-feet tall, also provides valuable depth in the frontcourt.
The two first rounders could seal the deal for Washington. They’d part with one of their two stars in Beal, but they’d have the foundation to build a new nucleus through this trade.
