The Atlanta Hawks have their face of the franchise in Trae Young, an NBA star who has the potential to lead the Hawks for the next decade or more. Could they look to add another such as Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal?
With the Hawks coming off of a 20 win season, it’s clear that Young will need more help around him in the future. One intriguing possibility would be to pair Young with Beal in Atlanta’s backcourt, giving the Hawks one of the NBA’s dynamic playmaking duos.
Beal, according to most reports, is not available yet in Washington, and perhaps the Wizards will hold onto him as he enters his extension this coming season.
For Washington, it may be as good a time as ever to trade Beal, seeing as multiple teams with high draft picks could be interested. The Wizards already hold the No. 9 overall pick, and trading Beal would be a way to amass more draft capital and players.
Let’s take a look at a hypothetical trade that would send Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal to the Atlanta Hawks to team up with Trae Young.
