Boston Celtics Trade-Up Target No. 1 — Onyeka Okongwu

There is a feeling that James Wiseman is going to be the best big in the 2020 NBA Draft, but Onyeka Okongwu is right behind him. This is the best chance for the Boston Celtics to move up and land a big.

The Celtics could opt to use their pick on Maryland’s Jalen Smith. If they decide to move up, it will be Okongwu. He is going to turn into a starting center in the league very quickly as he’s an aggressive option who is not afraid to rebound on both ends.

Okongwu is athletic and dynamic with the ball in his hands. He is a big-time prospect but will not fall to the Celtics where they are now.

The center position is the Celtics’ biggest need this offseason. It will be interesting to see which move they make, whether it is in the draft or on the trading block.
