Boston Celtics Trade-Up Target No. 5 — Deni Avdija

The Boston Celtics are loaded on the wings with Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. However, Deni Avdija is a player whose skill-set is one they do not have. He has the size and skill to play any position and that could be valuable for Boston.

Avdija is a prospect who has climbed up draft boards in recent months. The 19-year old is the reigning Israeli League MVP and could see success in the NBA as well. He is a strong ball-handler with great court vision who could shoot the ball from deep.

All three skills fit right into the current state of the NBA. Avdija is viewed as a potential top-five pick which means the Celtics would have to give up a lot but the return could be worth it.

There is a chance a team could trade down if the Celtics offer their three 1st round picks. It will be interesting to see how Avdija would fit into the offense with the Celtics.
