3. Golden State Warriors
This couldn’t happen, could it? The rich would continue to get richer in this one. The Warriors will have a healthy Steph Curry and Klay Thompson back this season. If they are able to trade for Ben Simmons without giving up Draymond Green, this is a slam dunk.
Golden State currently holds the No. 2 overall pick in the draft. This is a pick they do not necessarily need and could use it in a trade.
They also have young players they would be willing to part ways with like Jordan Poole and Eric Paschall who could head to the 76ers. We cannot forget about Andrew Wiggins. The former No. 1 overall pick would have to be included in this deal for another, but that should not be a problem.
A big three of Ben Simmons, Curry, and Thompson sounds intriguing for next season. Green would be included and make it a big 3.5.
The Warriors are already going to be one of the top teams in the West. If they add Simmons, they will be that much better.
