2. Atlanta Hawks
The idea of pairing Tyrese Haliburton with Trae Young in the back-court should excite the Hawks and their fans. Young put up 29.6 points and 9.3 assists per game during his second season. He is an elite three-point shooter with unlimited range, but is also a flashy passer with great vision.
This duo would make the Hawks better immediately. Haliburton is able to play off the ball with Young running the show. This would help Young on the defensive end as well.
Haliburton has great length and could take over difficult matchups from the 6-foot-1 Young. This duo would be dangerous from three-point range and would be a strong passing combination.
With the No. 6 overall pick in the NBA Draft, Haliburton could land in Atlanta.
The guard combination is attractive, but we cannot forget about John Collins. He has established himself as a big time pick-and-roll threat. This is something that Haliburton excelled in as a ballhandler during his time at Iowa State.
There are many reasons why he is a perfect fit.
