Trade Package No. 3

In this first hypothetical trade, the Brooklyn Nets acquire Jrue Holiday in exchange for Caris LeVert and Taurean Prince, along with the No. 19 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. LeVert’s new three-year extension will kick in in 2020-21, in which he’ll earn $16.2 million next season.

Prince and LeVert is a respectable package for Holiday, as New Orleans could acquire two 26 year-old’s in exchange for Holiday.

LeVert would immediately add an intriguing element to the Pelicans’ backcourt, which still includes Lonzo Ball.

LeVert has shown great potential in the past, although he has dealt with injuries. If he can stay healthy, LeVert can reach his full potential over the next few years as he enters his prime.
