The Kings are set to build around De’Aaron Fox, but they are also dealing with the volatile situation surrounding Buddy Hield.

A report surfaced earlier this month stating that Hield’s relationship with Kings coach Luke Walton has deteriorated to the point where Hield no longer returns Walton’s calls.

Hield’s issues in Sacramento are well-documented, and at this point, it wouldn’t be a surprise for the Kings to move on.

The Denver Nuggets would not seem to be a fit for Hield, but if he’s moved in a separate deal, Gary Harris could be a target for Sacramento. If the Kings look to package Hield for pick(s) or players, Harris could serve as a replacement who likely won’t have such dissension with the coaching staff.
