3 potential trade targets for the Golden State Warriors

Warriors pry Bradley Beal out of D.C.

This is probably the long-shot of the three scenarios. Beal’s name has come up in connection to the Warriors, but as with most scenarios, the other team would need a willingness to take on Wiggins.

The most enticing offer the Warriors could cook up would be Wiggins and the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 draft, in exchange for Beal.

If the 2020 draft was loaded at the top with can’t-miss talent, this may be a deal Washington considers. The Warriors, on the other hand would be going small, with a lineup that includes Curry, Thompson, Beal and Green.

Beal’s fit on the Warriors is exciting to think about, and salary-wise they would be able to bring him aboard. But for Washington, this would signal a shift toward a rebuild, as the No. 2 pick, not Wiggins, would be the headliner of the deal.
