Warriors acquire Aaron Gordon from Orlando

Aaron Gordon’s name has come up in connection to the Warriors in the past, and it seems like his career in Orlando has run its course at this point. There are several potential destinations for him, but imagine him running on offense with Curry, Thompson and Draymond Green.

One caveat for most of these trades: Outside of Andrew Wiggins and Kevon Looney, Golden State does not have many other contracts to move.

This would require the Magic to take on Wiggins. Yes, his contract is massive. And yes, it’s debatable if he deserved it. But Wiggins is still just 25 years-old. He can still help a team win in the right situation.

The Warriors have a 2021 first-round pick from Minnesota that they could attach to any possible trade of Wiggins to sweeten the deal. This trade would give these two players a fresh start in new homes, as well as a pick that could be a building block in Orlando for years to come.
