2. Dallas Mavericks

Another potential situation that would fit Victor Oladipo well would be a trade to the Mavericks. Forming a “Big Three” with Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis would make a lot of sense for the Pacers’ star.

Dallas is a piece away from serious contention in the Western Conference. An All-Star like Oladipo could slide perfectly into the back-court and take pressure off of Doncic. Opposing defenses would have to pick their poison with the two dynamic offensive threats.

Oladipo would also be able to slide into more of a support role. He is capable of being a team’s leading scorer, but may not be the kind of player who can power a team to the NBA Finals.

This move would make a ton of sense. However, finding a deal that the Pacers would find intriguing might be a bit difficult for the Mavericks.
