Granted, this isn’t a very likely scenario as the Kings would have a tough time convincing Victor Oladipo to stick around long-term. However, it would be a situation that could offer the Pacers the return they will need to move their franchise player.

Oladipo would immediately become the face of the Kings and would form a dynamic back-court with De’Aaron Fox. Sacramento has some pieces to work with and adding an All-Star could be what they need to contend for the playoffs.

Sacramento has been stuck in mediocrity for far too long. Swinging for the fences on an Oladipo trade would make a lot of sense.

This would come with some risk, but it’s time for the Kings to take some risk in order to get back into contention.
